    Unfortunately, we found that Tom’s of Maine was sponsoring all kinds of contests that mislead.

    For example, they are asking folks to purchase a water filter for poor nations.

    Water filters, even in this Country (US), the best of them, still leave as many as 50 pharmaceutical byproducts in the water, and dozens of other toxic chemicals.

    Our water laws are 35 years old in the US, and they only cover 90 of the over 60,000 known chemical runoffs that end up in the US water supply. Our clean water is none too clean, and we wonder at the high cancer rates.

    The only process that cleans water is reverse osmosis. However, reverse osmosis creates two gallons of dirty water for every one gallon of water it purifies.

    We are just wondering why a company like Tom’s would be involved in such a fraud.
